John Scott

 

 

A native of Kent and a professional drummer with over 20 years experience, John comes from a musical family. His father Wally Scott was Musical Director of the Royal New Zealand Navy Band in the 1970's and had his own orchestra "The Wally Scott Orchestra". John lived in Australia for several years playing in a number of bands including "The Buzz Band" in Sydney with Peter Gifford (Midnight Oil) and supported such acts as Cold Chisel and Mondo Rock. Returning to New Zealand John has played in top shows including" The Buddy Holly Revue Show" as well as being in the resident band for the Trans Tasman Country Music Awards, held at Norfolk Island since 1995
